I have over the years, aquired three '77s and never used any of them. I have toyed with the idea of screwing a lump of hardwood (or brass) to the front of one and turning it into a shoulder plane. Pretty much like the 311 . Anyone tried this, or can see problems

From what I have seen, is you work out the hours spent on a piece and multiply by 25p ! Every craft fair I have seen is the same as all the others.

I would suggest the lathe could be quite dangerous if you do not bolt it down to the bench. At best it will vibrate / move so much you will never get anything made.

Aldi cheapo canned cider makes brilliant gravy to go with pork
