At a recent craft show I had some simple T light stands, just two pieces of ply slotted together basically, left so you can fold it up when not in use, a man picked one up and the look of horror on his face when it slid apart was priceless, he thought he had broken it, he was very happy when I...

This is the Newquay tip Where are you talking about? United Downs by any chance? That's supposed to closing in a year or two and everything's moving to Pool. Anyone who thinks there's traffic problems now ain't seen nothing yet.

What rubbish does your council charge for?

Just finished this Nativity Cross as a special order This is the second one of these, having sold the first one (Steve Good pattern) It was a right pain to make, due to the material, the latest batches of ply have been particularly poor I didn't like the light colour so stained the faces...

Glad you posted this, its a subject I have been interested in, as I am after a 2nd hand compressor, I can't afford a new one, even if they aren't that expensive new Oddly just saw one on a selling page, it looks like Noah had it on the Ark ;-) Totally covered in rust all over, I wouldn't...

I am also in the leaving the bed as it is and decorating the walls, wallpaper, murals or whatever Not sure if its of interest but when mine were small, I painted an 8ft x 4ft sheet of ply with blackboard paint, screwed that to a wall, my kids loved it and good for the imagination Easy enough...

    A portrait.

I wouldn't see any problem in doing the portrait posted with flat pinless blades I use whatever I can get, standard ply mostly, we don't have a great many baltic birch suppliers round here, so it would be expensive mail order or make do with what you can get I quite like the grain to show in...

A loaf of bread at Aldi

Oh absolutely, I would never get under a vehicle without decent axle stands, wheel wedges etc Slightly different I know but I saw the effects of a car dropping off a two post lift in a workshop Not a pretty sight So every care is taken believe me

A loaf of bread at Aldi

To be fair to Aldi, I prefer their bread to several others ;-) Its a clever marketing policy they have, rarely do I go in and come out with just the item I went in for, it just amuses me that I go in for a mundane loaf and come out with something completely different (and the loaf) ;-)

A loaf of bread at Aldi

Well off I went for a loaf of bread from Aldi Came away with a trolley jack ! as you do ;-) I used to have a trolley jack but lent it to someone, never to be seen again Decided after using a scissor jack to change some brake pads that a trolley jack might be a good idea, so looked around...
