    Dust extractor: convert to cyclone?

    I think you may find that the cyclone has to be on the machine side of the extractor so that stuff seperates before it hits the fan, also unless your using at least 2hp its not going to seperate any more than its already doing, it will appear to be doing something in as far as big bits will drop...

    If you stuff the plastic bag up into the extractor first then wrap the edges round the lip it holds itself up and the clips go on real easy, then just pull it down and your done Allan

    Hows about, if you remove the filter from the extractor and connect a pipe that fits where the filter fits, then get hold of a plastic bin with lid, cut a hole in the lid so the pipe can go through it, drill some holes around the top of the bin so the air can get out and then put 2 foot of water...

    Cant see the Dewalt D23650K running on a standard Dewalt rail, you best check on that before you buy one. Allan
