Its use this ugly pin system. Those blades are horrible. If its your first scrolling don't buy that... If you have some practice you will not buy that. You can buy conversion kit My first ss was proxxon with dual/system pin + pin-les. And I also buy loots of pin blades with this...

Only belt sanders. Disc make circular patterns on wood.Sometimes I correct boxes sanded on disc like grid 150.... Using belts 80-100 I have better effect. Sanding along the grain + slight angle.

In USA I see many people using DeWalt scrollsaw

I pay 1/2 price of new one for repair... Work on this saw is great but quality is garbage...

For plywood I use GLOTECH PS310-0216-0003 is nice. There different type of blades for cutting ply, soft/ hard wood, along and across grain... But most important is permissible blade RPM . You could also try use duck tape for preventing ter out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRQ5GLifxs0

I use only one grade(60 or 80) of sandpaper for finish edges. I apply hot glue on screws and attach sandpaper disc. When it wears out i use hot gun to remove it. If you change discs frequently it's not god solution.
