Flickering it's not from led distortion. Only from mechanism shadow. I think Two opposite lamps should solve this problem.

You dont have problems with flickering? A add led halogen 230V lamp, and when ex30 mechanism work I receive stroboscopic effect.

Don't buy proxxon scroll saw blades it's ridiculous ****. Buy lot of those bolts. But little longer than original in clamps. They break really often. And if its longer it's easy remove it use pliers. And have fun on proxxon. It's pretty neat scroll saw you can make interesting stuff on it.

These saws are not as thin as scroll saws blades.

Spiral blades doesn't work good. If you mount blade backward you still have problem with rotation 360 degree. For really big piece is different scroll saw construction. This doesn't work so perfect like standard scroll saws.

Paws was hard to make. Beyond the capabilities of the scrollsaw. My biggest piece make on scroll saw. Height 80 cm, excalibur 30 capacity 71cm. Material beech wood, thickness 2cm. Base 2,5 cm made from beech doble carved on router. Different cutters , simple router mounted in table.

Or The difference is not big. The best way is to glue 2 or 3 sheets of wood like plywood
