Everest Windows- what a bunch of ****""s

The cuts look like they were made with a hand saw? Not knocking the people who have the skill to do that by hand (accurately), but I would have those these guys would be relying on power tools?

    Stretchable 2.5inch 63mm hose pipe?

Is there such a thing as the stretchable hose pipe you get on home upright vacuum cleaners, but in 63mm? (or near enough) The type of hose that stretches and then springs back to it's original shape?

    traditional style shooting board

Wow, this thread took a bit of a turn. Shooting board looks good, although it seems like it would be a better idea to have the fences with a bit of adjustment? i.e just a fence and some bolts with a little wiggle room

    Building cabinets square

Do you mean it didn't end up square because the joinery was off? or because the glue dried with it in a twist? If it's the latter, you could try something like this :

    Blade getting damaged

I resharpened the blade, and tried with a bit of pine. All fine, so its not the shooting board itself. Trimmed the Oak on the mitre saw, so as to try another section. I *think* the issue is still happening, there seems to be small amount of compression/bending of the tip of the blade, just not...

    Blade getting damaged

Definately no metal on the MDF or the Oak. Could it be a hard spot that would cause this?

    Blade getting damaged

I am trying to use my Veritas low angle jack plane on my shooting board to trim some Oak. The first few strokes are ok, but then the blade gets progessively more damaged, as can be seen in the image. The only material that part of the blade touches, is the MDF shooting board, and the oak...

    Router operations, Is this safe?

As already mentioned, I would have used a dado jig. Doesn't need to be complicated.

    Tablesaw safety

Well yeah - it could be easily be made adjustable. But I'm guessing if it's 6 inches high, you're using the fence?

    Tablesaw safety

Why aren't router table guards like a posted above more popular? other than when making a concave cut, it seems like they would make all operations MUCH safer? I'm struggling to see any limitations with them (other than concave cuts)

    Tablesaw safety

Not even with small router bits. There seems to be rise in popularity lately with great big chunking template spiral router bits, I assume because they're getting cheaper? I can't watch some of the videos, where their fingers are literally inches away from these humongous spinning bits of...

They can do some of the jobs. Not all of the jobs. But there are other factors too, like accuracy, consistency, ease of use etc

SEnsible / safe heating for workshop (aka the garage)

The infra-red ones are good if you're staying in one spot.

    First table saw.

For the money, the HS105 is good. The draper is going to be very heavy and not ideal for your intended purpose (mobile)

    Table saw threaded rod jig

I didn't build anything in the end. But when I do, I will be using this design instead : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v1QYKWgTvs

I think I broke my Triton Thicknesser

They will probably just be 'off the shelf' metric M6 hex/allen bolts https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Button-Head- ... Io8r59vQwA If it wedged like you said, you might want to check it still rises/falls parallel.
