    JSP PowerCap

The reason for wanting a spare battery is that my shed doesn't actually have 24hr power, I have an extension that I switch on/off when I am done. So I can't have the battery charging once my "session" is finished. If I have a spare, then I can have one charging, whilst the other is in use. But...

    JSP PowerCap

Thinking of picking one of these up as I am getting really annoyed with my current visor steaming up! Does anyone know if there is much of a difference between the JSP version and the own branded Axminster one? As I am going to need a spare battery, I am opting for the JSP version as they're a...

    Ikea work light (Grrrrrrrr)

It was the long neck that was attractive. On the original it's about 65cm, on the others its half that. The long neck being useful so the light can sit on the lath head stock and wrap to point around to the workpiece. I don;t think the shorter ones will reach. Will have to check.

    Axminster AC216TS table saw nightmare..

I hope you get it sorted. Not related to op's particular case, but tools in general : Personally, I am perfectly happy with having to fettle a cheaper machine. The key is that it HAS to have that kind of adjustability though. I really don't understand why you would ever design a machine with...

    Carbide cutter tips

Am I right in thinking that carbide cutter tips are mostly used for fast stock removal? and that when you want to apply your finishing cut, you would switch to a HSS bit? Is that why most hollowing tools come with both carbide and HSS cutter options?

It weighs a ton, not worth sending back. Just noticed it fits my lathe. Any reason not to use a keyless chuck on a lathe? (Tail stock) Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk
