Record Power CL1 broken motor shaft

Now would be the ideal time to change over to a 3ø variable speed motor like wot I have had on my CL1 for about 8 or more years now. My CL1 is an oldie and I got it about 15 plus years back and it has TRANSFORMED it. I have no idea what the 3ø box on mine is as it is in my small shed and just...

    Phishing scam BT

We have been getting phone calls telling us that because of a problem with our BT internet caused by a compromised intrusion from Yanky Land press 1 or 2 to give a large donation to some low life who is trying to steal from us or we will lose our internet connection. So if this reply...

ANYONE MADE THEIR OWN LONG BORER

Mine is pretty well the same as yours Chas. But yours is a lip & spur isn't it? Mine is a normal metal type. It works very well too. Just remember to pull it out frequently to clear the lands. I got a friend to weld mine because if I had done I would have been boring 'U' shaped holes

    Mac Book pro acting weird

Not really crowing H as I'm not sure that my 2010 MBP will go beyond High Sierra? But hey-ho and as they say in France "say-la-veee". It's still a good idea to ask on the Mac forum though.

    Mac Book pro acting weird

May I suggest that you pose your question on here http://www.mac-forums.com/apple-notebooks/ rather than asking the poor people who have to put up with Mikerosaft stuff? there are a lot of VERY well informed folk on there that may well be able to pin your problem down and actually know what...

    Oak processionary caterpillars!

Burn the sods Gamo !!! (hammer) (hammer) They are fascinating little machines. They make a cocoon out of their silk and each cocoon has a compliment of between 2 and 300 caterpillars in it. The pine moths are bad fliers and lay their eggs on the needles low down and when...

    Oak processionary caterpillars!

I don't know if you have had anything to do with these little horrors? They are a close relative of the pine concessionary caterpillars. The pine processionaries are not yet in the U.K., but they are in where we used to live in the south of France. Where we lived we had a big garden, 3000 sq...

    slugs

+1 for the anti slug pellets. They are not nice to all sorts of wildlife. I used to spend a few nights with a pair of bamboo tweezers that I made. Go out just after dusk and pick up as many as I could find and drop them in a jar with some white spirit in it. There were less each evening and...

anyone used a Gas powered hot melt glue gun?

I have recently got a Ryobi one+ battery jobbie. Cheap rubbish? Not as far as I can see. It works really well and heats up quite quickly. Not too sure about the through put as I don't normally do big jobs with it, but I would recommend it! I have never used hot glue on any of my RC model...

    NHS

Some very old friends of ours had a boat on the Canal du Midi a few years back. They were insured. The guy had all sorts of problems and finished up in Carcassonne Hospital for 2 weeks. When he was discharged he was given a bill for well over 2000€ and asked for the money there and then. He had...

    Common sense...

I was mistaken about the pepper spray. It is CS gas     And it was bought quite legally from a hunting shop when we lived in France! From what I have just read Cs Gas is against the Geneva convention. NATO has agreed that it's Inhumane. Don't you just love the...

    Common sense...

And that is the best part of it! He should get a medal! I have a nice little spray in my bedside cabinet and if some thug broke in to our place I would not hesitate to use it. I was once in a situation where I used to cross paths with a prat with a nasty doberman dog. It came at me about 3...
