    @ flying haggis.... no, probably only pull it out 12 inches or so then swivel 30ish degrees. Our room is 27 x 14 ish ft and the tv has to go at one end, so rather than the tv sat permanently at an angle i thought bracket/not watching/flat against wall/sorted.     The worst affected area 'seems' to be to the right of the cubicle.... can you get the tile off on the right hand side that abuts the door frame too.? Plus (not wanting to scare you at xmas...) if the waters traveled 'up' the wall, then it WILL have traveled down too... just sayin'

    totally agree.... if you're going to 'fix' it then 'fix it right....' dont go and do another 'cowboy' job and bodge it with more silicone or what ever. Plus... if it were me... i'd take the tile (and a foot of skirting) the other side of the screen off as well, just to have a look at how far...
