Adapting a workshop/garage when considering the neighbours

From what you’ve said it seems that your neighbour is less reasonable than you. So b*gger him. My neighbour complains about my bbq (the smell), my woodburner (ditto), and my ivy hedge (too tall). But he mows his lawn for hours and then gets his strimmer going, sounding like a demented mosquito...

    Vertical adjustable shelf dividers

But I think the OP wants vertical dividers on the horizontal shelves.

    Vertical adjustable shelf dividers

I would avoid tracks in the shelves - dust traps.

    I’ll have a go.

Edited - Which track saw (rather than which circular saw)?

The only tracksaw I have used is my Festool. It is a superb piece of kit, and for me, worth every penny. But cheaper saws may be ok, and certainly many forum members say they give good results.

Edited - Which track saw (rather than which circular saw)?

Yes, you could get by with a circular saw and straight edge, if you are willing to put up with loads of dust and cuts that need planing and sanding. That’s the choice to be made, and which way you go will depend on how often you expect to use the tool and how much time you have to do the...

    Interesting number plate

I always wanted a personalised plate but couldn’t afford it. So I changed my name by deed poll to ND14 NXL.

Questions regarding converting an internal garage.

You’re right, OSB is not very attractive, but it’s a workshop, not the Sistine Chapel. Personally I’d just paint it white. Re doors, timber would be better, and easier to insulate. But I’d avoid windows for security reasons.

Questions regarding converting an internal garage.

Go for osb on walls rather than plasterboard. It will make hanging shelves, cupboards etc a piece of cake.

    Tounge and Groove

I agree with previous re susceptibility to rot, and surely 50mm is unnecessarily thick and therefore unnecessarily expensive.

Rage 5S table saw - any good of but something else?

Band saw. It is much safer to use, particularly for a novice, and will be better suited for doll house making, ie you can cut curves eg for arches and doorways.

    When I am in charge!

Highway Code states cyclists should not ride more than two abreast. Clearly you’ve never read it.

Router + table, complete beginner for ease of use.

A word of advice. Don’t use the router with only 15mm of shank in the collet. It may end badly and possibly painfully.

    Bandsaw blade wobble

+1 for Tuffsaws. I was contemplating buying a scrollsaw to make some cut out animals for a Noah’s Ark I’m making. I thought I’d try a narrow blade on my little Inca 205 first, so I got a 1/8” 14 TPI. Results are superb, very clean cut and able to cope with very tight curves
