    Aldi chainsaw sharpener

I've got a previous incarnation, or similar from Aldi or Lidl, can't remember which. Great bit of kit if you're an intermittent chainsaw user

Sorry, Brian and Phil. I misread your post as being by Phil.

    lignum bowling balls

Hi Phil I've had the same puzzle! I first cut off a small 'edge' which could be used as a 'cabouchon?' (Not sure that's correct word or spelling!), then used the flat to support it on band saw table. HTH Greg

    Another Joke

As you were good- spirited with my childish joke earlier, I'll let you have that one. (Heads up, though - offence isn't meant or given, it's either taken or perceived. If we tell a joke from a position of privilege with no offence intended, it can still give offence - here endeth the lesson)

Best place to buy kitchens in the uk.

Howdens for the kitchen if you have an account. Wickes Windsor laminate floor- they always have specials on end of line. Definitely ensure you buy enough as they change range, but discount is HUGE. You can get an account there, too, for extra 10% off. Also, make sure the laminate has bevel edge...

Cheers, AES. As to your challenge - Why don't polar bears eat penguins? Coz they can't get the wrappers off. Sorry, hat, coat...

Genius! I just made the stupid assumption that when I'd clicked 'reply' on the first one, that was it. You, sir are a scholar and a gentleman! Cheers Greg

    Including multiple quotes

Quite often on here, people quote more than one previous person in a thread - how's that done? I only ever seem to be able to quote one TIA Greg

Clever!, though I'm with Droogs - not a scooby doo how it works!

    Another Joke

Now that was an unexpected, (though welcome and informative), diversion. I only posted it as I thought it was a funny dad joke 😁, as it's a Joke thread
