    16mm unthreaded chucks

Thanks for this, as it happens there's a set of comprehensive instructions in the box. Think I'll have to sell them, wonder how many Shopsmith owners there are out there? Mind you as Phil hinted, dare say they could be threaded to suit..... Cheers Andy

    16mm unthreaded chucks

They didn't have any other bits just a grubscrew fix. That kinda narrows things down a bit if only for the Shopsmith..... Must say how well they are made, proper old-school quality:cool: Cheers Andy Back of chuck pic(y)

    16mm unthreaded chucks

Just wondering what machines these are suitable for ? They seem to be a parallel hole with no taper and a grubscrew. Cheers Andy

HELP WITH IDENTIFY METAL OILER - ENGLAND

The type of tool I refer to works purely on the principle that it can be tipped up and the end placed at an otherwise inaccessible oiler . Only when in position does one depress the plunger and allow the oil to flow freely with the aid of gravity. Less about oiling and more about filling...

HELP WITH IDENTIFY METAL OILER - ENGLAND

If I'm correct you may find this is an oil reservoir filler rather than a force feed oiler. The idea is to be able to tip the end into a pot/drip feeder and depress the plunger to allow the oil to freely flow. This is a lesser type than many others I've seen and collected. They're quite often...

    Sash window restore

Taking into consideration height and the proximity to the highway/footpath I would be looking at excluding any passing traffic/public or creating a self contained "drop zone". Any damage to any party would be best avoided. Cheers Andy

Canal boat people. Please help me out.

Alas James I have no idea, place is being cleared out by the family after the old chap passed on. He towed it from Wells Next the Sea as a shell and sadly never finished it. Missed seeing his whole setup as most has been sold but he was one of those chaps who could turn his hand to anything...

    Sash window restore

You will possibly need to remove at least the bottom fixed ones to access the pockets unless they have been made with inside face access. If you can use the existing cord to pull through new cord or a string it can make life easier. Cheers Andy
