Tuffsaw do excellent 1/8" blades, I have been using them for ages and they are very rekliable. In fact I usually have the 1/8" on the BS400, but itruns with the Carter Stabilizer and unless you are planning to need lots of tight radi cuts, then it may not be worth it. The Stabilizers are ar $79...

With a table top of 7/8" thick having formic top surfaceand plywood below, could the opening for the router plate just be cut with a router straight through the table with a template of timber just stuck down with double sided tape. Or is this a 'dodgy' way to go about it? I have seen videos...

Thanks Matt. I'm trying to think ahead and particularly with dados/ tracks, where a lot of dust accumulates. That's why I feel an additional hole in the table, just after and in line with the cutter would also be good. May see how the fence extraction works first efore thinking about enclosure...

Having problems at just recently with my power screwdrive not driving the screw all the waty before the chuck gives up. Not sure if it's the screwdriver bit (which I suspect) or the power unit not offering enough power before slipping the clutch. I have tried different positions and bits, but...

Thanks Bob, it was'nt what I was thinking, but that is also a good item to have in a shop. However, it usually kills everything and some things I leave on all the time, like the humidifyer (fantastic machine) and occassionally a heater when it's really cold. Something you don't often get over...
