I think for the small (comparatively) cost I would buy a set of each then add any additional sizes as required. I use lip and spur myself and get the cheaper ones as I don't resharpen, just replace as required. When you look at a decent sharpener at around £70, that buys a lot of drill bits.

What about one of the positive pressure masks. I use an Aircap and it is brilliant, very easy to wear even beardy types can use it.

Only one way to know for sure is to fell and mill it, I have had some great trees this way, even if there is some decay there will be a lot to salvage, use a chainsaw mill and cut to planks to assist drying and transport.
