Ear defenders with audio via bone conduction

I've been thinking about this today. What's the sounds quality like ? I think they might be perfect for dog walking cause I'd still be able to hear traffic/bicycles etc. I had some custom headphone plugs made years ago as I always found the in ear headphones would come loose and annoy the heck...

    My recent injuries.

Thanks pal ;) Just spent a long 3 hour wait in the doctors surgery. After she'd finished telling me off for coming in with a complaint that's over 3 months old, she advised me to ditch my chiropractor and spend my money on a physio. Apparently an NHS one would be a 4-6 week wait. I only ever...

    TENS anyone?

I just nearly wet myself ! Went to boots and picked up the belt. Turned it on at intensity 5 and it was like a gentle tapping (it has 20). Tipping the kettle into the saucepan on the hob and crikey o Riley it changed programmes. I wondered wtf was happening for a few seconds! I'm not sure...

    TENS anyone?

Do the pads come with extra double sided tape ? I noticed they also sell back supports with the pads built in.... Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Mahogany

Just flog it on as mahogany of some sort. Can't help but think you've shot yourself in the foot with this. If he was chucking it out anyway, I hope you didn't pay too much ! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Mahogany

Those pics remind me of a Johnny Cash dvd I bought - I was gutted when I saw Johnny Cash's head was 10 black and white squares lol. Joking aside, there's not much detail in the pictures- it makes it even harder to guess what it is ;) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Stable wooden kitchen worktops

I made a kind of bath step/mat from some bamboo flooring . I pushed it through the spindle moulder to put a tiny champfer on the edge. By the time I'd finished it had completely wrecked the cutter. Hope its alright to ask this hear- Would you recommend oiling the top of the bath step thing...

    Mahogany

I guess if someone has a specific allergy to a certain type of mahogany then it could be worth identifying the exact species, other than that I don't think it's worth the hassle tbh ;) Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Coley style window

I don't think there's really an ideal glazing rebate for single glazed putty. The bedding in on putty and panel pins alone should prevent the glass falling out. I think you've kind of sussed out the reason already for the dimensions. Ive never seen single glazed casements any thicker than ex 2...

    Mahogany

Just use it yourself and save yourself the hassle ! What are you hoping to achieve by finding out its exact original GPS origin ? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    Coley style window

Like you say a bigger ovolo would help push the mortise over. Its not an issue as all yours are fixed but If you were having them open you'd just need to make sure there was a big enough flat for the casement fastener to screw on. It's a bit more work (and will test your setting up skills lol)...

    sedgwick planer rollers

Is there any difference if you plane off 1mm or say 5mm at a time? Is planing off more better at gripping/pulling the timber through ? Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk

    sedgwick planer rollers

Here's a picture of how I added some extra tension. The springs that helped take the weight of lowering the surfacing tables broke and it took over 3 months from rojek just to send the wrong part numbers (nothing sent, couldn't even tell me what part numbers I needed !)Rather than try and...

    My recent injuries.

I've never relied on anyone and don't plan to any time soon ;) this is my own dance and if I'm not capable it's time to hang my shoes up. Thanks Polly, that's probably the encouragement I needed ! Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
