With a piece of 6mm ply I turned mine into a push stick! It makes for a comfortable secure grip and keeps my hand well away from the scary rotating thing!

I bought this knife block just over a year ago. It fits into a kitchen drawer and works brilliantly, better than I had anticipated keeping all the knives separated and ordered and as it is in the drawer there are no issues with dust build up in the crevices.

FISH GLUE It has very similar properties to scotch but is used cold. The best thing about it is the long open time so perfect for complicated glue ups. I believe instrument makers use it quite a lot.

Western red cedar is a Thuja and not the timber used for drawer linings. Red Cedar of Lebanon 'Cedrus Libani' is the one used for drawer linings which is much harder than WRC and has a wonderful peppery scent.
