    Appleby Wood Turnings.....they sell all kinds of blades....prof stuff as well, not just DIY..... they are very helpful and have a good website....plus great on the phone just send a photo....... they managed to suppy blades for some odd ball router cutter I had.....

    Wanted Strimmer

    won'tbuy Sthil any more....... anything Japanese is good..... I usually stick to Echo machines but do have a big Kawasaki strimmer but I'm not stong enough to start it anymore.... this summer will look into an electric starter conversion for it..... made this years ago.....it reg strims my back...

    Saw blade... deflection?

    go get it resharpened......and try again..... even a new blade works better with a regrind..... as for makes of blade...unless they are imported I just have to buy what available.... Honestly I've had no probs at all..... BUT befrore use they all go to the grinders.....we have an amazing chap...

    I'm in the middle of a hardwood framing project *garden bed) which is subject to a lot of twisting/racking..... all the joints are mortice an tennon with stainless n brass thru bolts.....this lot is 8mm...... might not what u want but this'll give u an idea.....u can always bury the heads under...

    locktite....get the screw lock, always easy to undo...... out of interest......a certain expensive watchmaker uses a special thread lock in their mechanical products..... plus, it's used on boat prop nuts.....apart from keeping things tight it also stop corrosion..... it's a great product....
