Passing Cyclists in UK with a car Genuine help question

Deema, I think you are asking in the wrong place you will only get different opinions here you need to ask the people that make these laws. The worst I have seen here in Derbyshire was a group of 12 or more cyclists riding in a block 3 side by side and a tailback of 10 lorries and more cars...

Hi Tony, I'll be as gentle as I can!! For someone starting out get onto one of the local Freelists (such as trashnothing .com) there are people looking to give away old furniture, tables, cupboards all sorts of stuff even timber boards, a great source for a startup.

    Veneer punches.

If you have anyone close with a metal lathe ask them to turn a steel bar to the hole size you require with a say 5 degree taper to the inside then turn a second tube with 5 degree taper outside I have done this many times and it works well.

Mild Steel Angle Iron and Brass Screws

Here you are just done 3 quickly so not centred properly it is quick to punch and you don't get any problems in the future. This sheet is 0.53mm thick but it is firm and does not rip as well. You can see in the 2nd image after punching it leaves it dished to accept the screw head.

Mild Steel Angle Iron and Brass Screws

I have used washers made of Silicone rubber sheet 1mm to 1.5mm thick with a Shore hardness of 60, you can get it in different colours. I just punched out the washers I need screw up and trim off any protruding edge. I would think if you used grease or wax as the screw tightens it would scrub...

    CNC Software

I use Vectric Aspire as I work more in 2 1/2D - 3D designing for stone cutting and engineering parts and wood, I trained in Autocad and Inventor up to 3D but I find Vectric Aspire can do all I want and I don't have all the extra cost with yearly maintenance upgrades as I did with Autocad.

Can I change keyed chuck to keyless?

You need to look for a keyless chuck with a B16 taper fitting that should fit straight onto the stub of your drill forget about the MT2 not needed on yours. You will need someway of locking the shaft while you close the chuck or you might get a drill bit wandering out onto your work or your hands.

    Does anyone print onto wood?

Dave, I did some transfers onto wood clock cases a few years ago that worked really well you print onto the sheet not using much ink you have to (change your print settings to basic) then you leave it to dry for about 30 minutes, cut out the shape you have printed then soak in water a few...

Forgive my ignorance what would you use it for? I stripped some out a while ago but being not sure about it I put them in storage.
