    Puzzling damp patch?

Hiya, whats your plan? I'm not being difficult, just looking to stop you getting grief..... no matter what pattern the dot n dab is in, if the solid external wall is damp ( which sounds like it is ) damp will pass through the dot n dab...... A first step should be vandex or similar tanking to...

    New planer questions

As clogs said, skimming the fence is a great option. Inspectors pointbabout contacting the seller is spot on, they'll probably help. If you get sent a replacement, have a go at skimming it yourself. You'll want a long straight edge the length of the fence and something like a steel rule for...

Track saw at 45 degrees - rubber edge ruined?

I would imagine the pivot point on all of them would be set so the track stays accurate ( i.e, cuts the exact same line regardless of angle ) otherwise you'd have to keep changing the strips

    Kity K5 starter capacitor

Hiya, usually if the cap is faulty, it'll struggle to do the initial turn, but as soon as the turn starts the motor would pick up as normal and have full power.... so i guess the motor may have developed a fault? Hopefully @Spectric @deema or @Sideways will see this 👍

    paraffin Heater

A plumber previously told me it sinks and builds up, so ive got one at ground level near our boiler..... then a log burner company said they should be above the height of the appliance, so i got a second and stuck it up on the top of the cupboard 🤣 I might get a bank of them, spaced every...

Rechargeable battery, but i have no idea on spares. I keep meaning to buy one, he said they are about 160 quid

    Thoughts on this project

After you've removed it, you could infil with resin or a light coloured timber, BUT , i think to make it look good, you'll need to copy the detail on the elephants to avoid it looking like white blobs. Can you trace round them to create templates before you remove?

Advice needed - How this entrance can be thermally insulated?

I'm assuming ( which might be wrong ) that the exposed brickwork we can see, is in fact single skin. The plastered areas are twin skin.
