    Cut in half through the centre judging by the tape measure in the photo cut to 10cm along the length on both pieces to give yourself two square bits then turn you should end up with a lovely set and if you have enough left over reapeat good luck look fwd to the photos pat

    Thank you very much, used shellac for the first time a short while back for a finish with a shellac based sanding sealer was very happy with the result they provided

    Hi been very impressed with fixums and like your ronseal it does on penetrate as deep as I'd like. However on the can it recommends mixing it with acetone for deeper penetration. Haven't had any problems with me sand paper clogging up. As I dont have a dust extraction just a Hoover I invested...

    Hi its, rustins sanding sealant and chestnut friction polish both are shellac based if you scroll back to the bottom of page 46 theres a photo so you know what to look out for.
