Cheap option, white paint, do some welding and make it yours. Expensive option, Italian bandsaw.:)

    shoulder plane

If you meant dado's or trenches then a shoulder plane ain't the tool for the job. An old woman's/hags tooth might be the ticket. Here's a video regarding tapered sliding dovetails, which might be of use, It's basically the same thing, should you wish to do things without a router. 19 mins in I...

Terrible machine compared to the RP 350 though, pretty much every part is very badly designed, not only that but also with pants materials, and no smaller either. Give me cast iron wheels any day, over zinc cheese, even if it had issues, lol.

Multiple Tablesaw abutments and design suggestions

Not done any progress with an outfeed table yet, as other things need sorting first, and not even too keen on making a start on the table wing either, as I like getting the important bits done beforehand. None the less, figured that metal was definitely worth salvaging, and having some fun...

    Yet another Bandsaw thread

Makes a big difference on many's a machine, perhaps not as notable with yours, since RP's 350 has evidently gone through some changes through the years, member Tibi mentioned his table is larger than specified. Even with the more compact table designs, I'd still bet you'd loose enough space to...

    Yet another Bandsaw thread

If I were in that position, I'd consider making up some sort of swinging trunnion to tilt the table in the other orientation. Might involve a bit of welding, but ya did mention you were a lil' tight on space. Kinda surprising no manufacturer hasn't done this, or at least an add on, they could...

    Identify this bandsaw!

If you want to save yerself a few quid, best get the stuff needed, as it could be expensive if the sparkey goes all out and refuses anything less, i.e IP44 rated box, or whatever's used for VFD's, and another fan installation because those are sealed, DIN rail (IIRC) for easy mounting of VFD...

    Identify this bandsaw!

One more attempt at persuasion I'll try, as I don't wish to "bully" anyone, but getting strong vibes of this is all way too complicated to even bother with, rather than outright that won't fly for my situation, for whatever reason, I can't think of TBH. Perhaps there's a bit of a sting to...

    Identify this bandsaw!

Here's a thread which might be of interest, though there are plenty of threads regarding Startrite 275's if you look, as they also have dual voltage 3 phase motors, so are easy to hook up to a VFD. https://www.ukworkshop.co.uk/threads/3-phase-to-single-phase-startrite-275-conversion.91106/ Tom

    Identify this bandsaw!

If the RPM and pulley matches on the Gryphon, (which presumably is more powerful) and there's enough of a shaft length to accommodate it, and the pulley is a good fit on the shaft, then that might be viable.... It might be the case that the setup of this bandsaw with flange mounted motor...

    Bandsaw Resaw

The Wadkin DR bandsaw looks somewhat capable of both, but that kinda application is well over my paygrade. Worth noting on the overseas woodworking machinery forum OWWM, the amount of Yeats Snowflake's and Tannewitz bandsaw users using narrow blades like Brian Boggs for instance Be...

    Identify this bandsaw!

Unsure of what kinda leccy supply you've got, and not sayin yer sparkey wouldn't be able to get it running... but without being prepared for the job, I reckon something like this might be the best they can do for ya. Here's Louis Sauzedde jump starting his band saw

    Identify this bandsaw!

@Jameshow I ain't Van Huskey if you were wondering. 😅 I've only got the one saw, and was chasing my tail regarding fixing it up, hence my interest, since I've been studying Centauro and other manufacturers whilst repairing practically everything on my old machine, doing tests and mythbusting...

    Identify this bandsaw!

Cleaned up well didn't it, it would be a good idea to have to read Bob's induction motor treatise, where you can run through all of your options to get it running on 240v. That is... unless yer man's got a selection of flange mounted single phase motors and a pulley to suit, and patience to wait...

    Table saw Crown Guard angle.

The SUVA guard looks worth further consideration. Seems the lever might work some clever cam action system, but I suppose it could be some kind of detent either? Kinda seems as handy as the somewhat self raising variety? On Cosmas Bauer's YT channel, I see a Panhans guard which features the...

I use various lengths of pound shop bungee cords for those kinda things. Is that not an option?

    Riving knife with crosscut sled

Apologies for the confusing comment, what I was referring to was how to make a sled safer, by way of restricting the travel of it. I've not seen anyone make something with longevity in mind, so won't go a lookin. Seems lots of folks here might not have watched Steve Latta's videos, on making...
