    Post something you have made from reclaimed timer. something you loved working on or the end product I’ll start. Pitch pine drop leaf/gatelegged table finished with an open grain and lime wax. Made from old church pews Not the best picture but I loved working on it!

    This is true. Paint shops can scan and match the paint only issue with that is you have to have a good panel where the paint hasn’t faded

    Thank you for this. Just trying to save time with the lay on method. I also want a 3mm lip. 6mm is too much for the look. But 4mm is a very easy compromise Seems like I’m making and gluing them up now doesn’t it 🤣

    They are very different the older Kity is closer to a Startrite finish. But the later stuff is a much darker green. They are in no way close Not sure if the photos below help

    While the original is pretty close to older Kity models. The later is ver different. I made some up with my local paint shop. Let me know if you need the paint code still and I’ll dig it out for you 🤝 Before and after photos below.

    Wow I wasn’t expecting that. I’ll pass that on to the client thank you 🙏 Door was past saving (and I always save them when I can). Made the door hand finish. Saved as much of the furniture as possible
