    New Diesel & Petrol Ban

Ice production is winding down, look how the glaciers are retreating. Italy & Switzerland are having to re-define their border at the Matterhorn!

    New Diesel & Petrol Ban

If I was still a motorist, I couldn't care less about Frod, never ever bought one, or wanted to own a 'Dagenham Dustbin.' I got 'F-R-O-D' from rearranging the independent letters that used to be on car boots, pull them out of their retaining plastic bits & shuffle 'em! [hoping customers...

    Trailer conversion for motorbikes?

I'd say the axle is too far back for that, & could put too much weight on the hitch. I'd also replace those 'castors' with something like 10" mini wheels?

    Waste disposal

Not for me. I had to give up cycling in 1972, after the third op on a pilonidal sinus - can't sit on a saddle. my knees wouldn't allow cycling now in any case!

    Waste disposal

Garden brassier- oops BRAZIER comes to mind! I got rid of a load of off-cuts recently by having all-wood fired BBQs. At least Herefordshire is free, but one needs to book with certain monthly limits, & passes are required for vans, pick-ups & trailers over a certain size. I don't drive now, but...

Repositioning lights on trailer lighting board - wiring advice?

Same here. I was so familiar with the 5 & 7 core cable in their day, but then the 'Euro regs' came in for towbars & trailer electrics. I then walked away saying;"no more messing with trailers etc." My last tow-bar fitting was to my '96 Saab 900 (GM), when I changed to a '01 Saab 93, I thought I...

Repositioning lights on trailer lighting board - wiring advice?

Remember to remove light board before launching!! Sounds daft, I know, but I guess it's been done!

Those little 'blighters' caused a few headaches for me during my motor trade years.

    Orbital sander

I've got both Makita 125 & 150 DA sanders, can't fault them. Both have low vibes, which suits my CTS problem. I had a Metabo 150, but too much vibration, so it went. I had a DW 18v 120, but found it inadequate for anything more than to just grab for a quick sand-off of rough saw cut edges.

    What van do I buy?

The Fiat - Peugeot - Citroen are designed with motorhome conversion compatibility, hence the RHS handbrake to leave an uncluttered floor space. I had a 2.5 TD Ducato, I had no probs with either belts or h/brake, me being 5.5FT. This was a '94 model, with 'Stirmy'-Archer gear lever, which I...
