    I think 2" will be fine? Diagonal bracing is more important imo.

    We have one of these at our men's shed and it's a decent saw tbh. Anyone else got any options about it. It looks like Wickes did the same model years ago too. Any other good budget mitre saws...

    Piece of 3" fence post. Offcut of 18mm ply 32" min width 4x2 edging to stop the wheel chair falling off. Used to have a 12ft long one going up 3 steps for my neice.
