It's not every day (for Kittyhawk)

There were fake sheep on the roof of the Lancaster factory just north of Leeds Bradford airport which had to be moved along with the fake tractor and hale bales too!🤣

    Awkward Space Storage Solutions?

You could eat some supermarket delivery crates and a dolly to suit? Some much have escaped the stores and ended up on eBay! I have a few Safeway ones. But no dolly!

    OSB or Ply?

A 3.9m length scaffold board could be cut into three 1.3m lengths and screwed together with some 2x2? Useful afterwards too. Also proper angle iron is a pig to drill btw.

    Small workshop generator

I brought it to use in an off grid shed I once had. I've subsequently used it since around and about. Drilling holes using a mite saw etc. not for trade us but occasional DIY use. Tbh it's infrequent use that often kills petrol tools. Given that it's almost twice the power of the tool used it...

    Bandsaw upgrade

Laguna have a good reputation. Nick the rep us in here. Single phase is standard 240v Vs three phase 415 industrial voltage. I'm guessing the bigger machines are offered in either voltage.

    DIY Powerwall / Battery

Yea only 2 hours at a time 3 times a week. Max individual power is 3kw kettle, although we could possibly get a solid wood stove if the insurance would allow. What's the maximum distance of lithium80%?

    DIY Powerwall / Battery

Can you of you come up with a system that will provide for a men's shed which uses approx 6kwh per week. At we are being asked to pay £100 p/m by a neighbouring charity which h I think is extortionate. We have a 30 x 16' flat roof.

To buy old saws or new? Is the question.

A good old saw is a joy to use. Cuts through wood with a weight and satisfaction unlike anything else. However ini site you'll pick up a hardpoint saw, but they feel like toys in comparison!

    Joke Thread 4 (closed).

Why are jokes about the Christian faith acceptable, yet you would never dare post one about the Muslim faith???
