Two 25L unknown 'coolant' barrels, care to guess the contents?

I'm sure your supplier is buying in bulk and then down sizing to smaller containers to sell. So it is most likely one of theit other fluids miss labeled. If you send that picture to your supplier. They probably will tell you what it is. And if a cutting fluid, you can use or sell.

Latest thing you have printed / machined / cut

I think it was just built. So freshly cut and bright purple. If you keep it in a dark, safe, it will stay purple, much, much longer. But then you don't get to see it.

Fail - Equilateral triangle with 50/50 mitres

2.32 mm is a thin kerf blade. I'd bet that could be part of reason why the deflection. Also, a more stable jig will help. 3.175 is a full kerf blade. Less chance of deflection you are seeing at end of cut. Or get some blade stiffeners to help with the thin kerf blade you have. also, sometimes...

Brace bit in a regular, electric or pillar drill ?

Those bits were designed for a hand brace. To go very slow. If you speed them up you are asking for trouble. They are also not balanced to well as we're never meant to go fast. Don't do it. I would not even cut them off and use them. Unless your electric drill goes 60 rpm.

Not a good advert for Jessem

Way too many moving parts, and between setup and drilling a very labour extensive product in my view. Not a production tool. I'd just dowel or biscuit.

Fail - Equilateral triangle with 50/50 mitres

Some jigs are just better than others. crazyarsedmonkey Also is it a thin kerf blade in saw. They are notorious for deflecting in cut.

    Wonky Axminster saw

I quess we need to know how you are checking for run out.if you are sliding a dial idicator along the table using the slot and blade and front of blade is different then the back of blade in relation to the table slot , then it is the table top if there is no play in the blade.

    Dining table WIP

I hope you don't have any issues also. But a glue joint without any tenons or any other form of connectors , albeit, dovetail, etc, and only using glue can be your weak point. Especially with end grain involved. Love the design.

    Wonky Axminster saw

So I'd say your table top is not in line with the blade. If banged in moving can easily happen. The top should be bolted to the base somewhere.

    Wonky Axminster saw

So your saw blade does have play in it?

    Wonky Axminster saw

If there is no play in the bearings or blade shall I say. Find Out where the table is attached to the base. Unscrew table top, rotate a hair and retighten. recheck alignment to blade from slot in table.

    Wonky Axminster saw

.005 mm is acceptable runout on a 10" blade. You are 40 times that. I'm assuming a 10 inch blade. If your blade is less than that it's much more than 40 x. There are ways to fix arbor run out unless it's faulty bearings. edit: that's a decent panel saw. Check to see if play in bearings...

Not happy - Tin pot council officers who can issue fines.

God I live in the country. Have to drive everywhere. I hope I never have to leave my little 3/4 acre house and move to a city. I left the cities when I was 30 years old. Still leave my doors unlocked at night. And Festool boxes sometimes get forgotten in my driveway and tools still there in the...

We have bylaw officers here in Canada. Ours in Invermere bc. Is Not allowed to fine anyone. We are a tourist town, and we like our tourists money, so he is only allowed to give warnings. Lol. So in other words we have a full time paid bylaw officer , in a car with lights, who cant do any real...

Not happy - Tin pot council officers who can issue fines.

I think they are illegal here also, but I've never heard of anyone being fined for one. They are sold as protectors for plates as if your numbers get scratched or damaged etc, you are responsible to buy a new plate. The police officer who lives beside me has " plate protectors on all his trucks"...

in Canada we use these. Never had a ticket or been pulled over. where Is that wood now to knock on. I just don't believe in a fine that comes from a camera.
