Rust prevention and removal - any advice?

Just a thought guys, if you're not using the light from the miserly light bulb" it's energy wasted. Buy an adjustable heater that way whatever energy you do consume is put to good use. Gaz

    networking

The problem will be that you have used network cable. It is wired from plug to plug pin 1 to pin 1 pin2 to pin2 etc Therefore if computer 1 uses pin 1 as the transmit and pin 2 as the receive it won't work. Use a patch / crossover cable as they are "crossed over". Pin 1 to pin 2 etc. And for...

    Bessey Axminster deal

Just ordered a set last night. Was needing a few other bits anyway. Isn't that always the case? Cl(r)amps are out of stock but everything else is getting delivered tomorrow. Guess I'll just have to wait and see when they re-stock and if the offer is still in place.

    Jointer or/and planer/thicknesser? Confused!!

Cheers, I kinda figured that the Jointer was an Americanism but wasn't sure. Being that my eventual workshop will be a single garage, a planer/thicknesser will probably be the way to go. Gaz

    Jointer or/and planer/thicknesser? Confused!!

I've never used either of these machines but intend setting up a workshop and would need to be able to machine hardwoods down to size. Can someone please explain the difference or limitations of these machines. Obviously the jointer won't do thicknessing but will a planer/thicknesser do the...

Hi, this being my first post here, I'm not sure if this is where I should be posting this but here goes. I intend converting my single garage into a workshop. Once I get a shed built to house the two motor bikes and garden tools. I want to insulate my steel garage door if possible and also...
