    Can I not use a dedicated trimmer or a router. I'm not going to manufacture alot, only 1 off's. Plus I haven't got alot of space for large stationary Machines. I am looking at the most cost effective way of producing A small amount of mfc doors and cabs.

    I am currently setting up a smallish workshop. I have just purchased an elektra beckum PKF 255 V8 panel saw with scoring blade and i am just about to buy an edge bander. I am now trying to find a jig system for drill the cams in the MFC, can't really find any apart from the Hafele one...

    Festool MFK 700

    sorry only have 3GS :( . But v interested in this. Would a hand held trimmer be ok for this or would you def go for router table? If so can you recommend one, i've got a festool OF 2200 router but prob be better putting a cheaper one in the table do you think??

    Its a fantastic piece of kit! I brought the OFK 500 which is good but the MFK 700 is the best. So easy to use, i'am thinking about buying one as well as i am starting to use abs edging more. Never used a better trimmer!

    I have just seen a Scheppach TS2500 for sale and it looks a good piece of kit, sliding table, extensions etc. Might be able to get it for £500. Any thoughts on this saw?

    No doesn't have to be new, but has to have a sliding table. I have seen some on ebay but most don't have sliding table and i would have to pick up myself, but i would defiantly buy second hand if the right saw came up.

    I've narrowed it down to the SIP, Charnwood, JTS and AX 10" Price wise the Charnwood looks a good deal, but i do like the sliding table on the JTS.

    Can anyone recommend a benchtop pillar drill for hinges??

    I plan to do quite alot so the router isn't really an option. I've read that some of the axminster pillar drills are not very accurate but how accurate does it have to be for hinges??
