I recently bought a Makita LS1013 and in one of the bags was a piece of plastic about 5mm thick with a recess approximately 2mm deep moulded in the top. There seems to be no mention in the manual of its inclusion. Is it just a cheap set square for blade alignment? Any better suggestions?
