    Norm's Router Table

    I have done this on norms table but i made sure cut edges were lipped or sealed so that i did not have problems with damp .The fence position is set by a simple clamps and wing nuts. Check that the surface is dead flat especially if second hand and best to use the 40 mm type also.

    1 yes if its pitch based. 2 yes but heavy point loads will not be good so battens in the load areas at least. 3 below for either case. 4 it will work but there are cheaper vapour barriers.

    No its cat no86 part no 25009-86 a quilt material 0.2 u value. but i was using it as an example there are a number of manufacturers ,this high performance insulation looks ideal for your situation.

    There is insulation available that meets the regulations thats quite thin look at page 566 in screwfix i am sure kingspan can give you info on there own high performance product.

    Cut a wooden block to the correct angle and use that as your guide you could develop the idea and fix the cutter to it with a tyrap etc.

    I recommend a irwin detail pullsaw (screwfix) to cut off maranti plugs and the fix will be hardly noticeable also the house will last for a long time.

    billybuntus Selfleveling latex based 0-15mm thick and it will stick ! i used wickes (cheapest) and it works well when properly mixed ,you may have to pva some surfaces but i don't see it working properly with paint on damp proofer but you may not need the damp proofer.

    I like a smooth floor so i used self leveling on the concrete and floor paint , the separate workshop has a chip board floor with floor varnish (water based). Both are easy to move m/c on casters and brush up.
