    I suggest you also consider a mitre saw say makita LS1040 accurate and good resale value for those 'non standard' angles cutting to a line that can be difficult to set on a table saw

    I think I need a new blade for my TS

    The blade should be parallel with the fence if not it side loads the blade and the up rising teeth at the rear mark the cut edge. the blade of this site saw does sound like it should be replaced or at least sharpened if its viable. Vibration can come from the motor if faulty.

    Make the batten deeper say some ply and shape to required curve then it becomes a plastering edge to work off just like a plasterers bead for straight work.

    TSaw ripping 4.8mtr length advise

    When ripping on the TS you usually stand near the saw holding the wood against the fence and down on the table with long lengths you have to move away to control/feed the wood so try feather boards to hold to the fence and down to table you can then control the board . infeed and outfeed rollers...

    I think you should consider a winch with adaptations to secure it to fixed objects along the route. I use to use one to pull cars onto trailers they are easy to use . There is also a type of winch called a turfor i think, hire shops have them very strong just pull a handle through 30 degrees...

    Stainless is very expensive and difficult to work well the type that does not rust/discolor is, so there is galvanizing plating and paint to consider may be a quote from a welder with the final product galvanized might fill the bill.

    The fence basically has three main parts :- fence box, cross slide and bracket connecting them. If you remove cross slide you can see 4 round head bolts with star heads fixing bracket to box these have worked loose and boy does this cause some problems as the fence ends up not parallel to the...

    Help with laying out my workshop

    Most M/Cs are best on castors then the layout is permanently flexible. The table saw is the biggest problem i found i could not have a slider and then put the car in front of it so siting it is a good place to start.

    I agree with robertmp high resistance is the problem this could be the fuse the wire connections or the bulb connections or the main connector may not be making a connection stick with it you will find it soon.
