    Red Warning - Storm Darragh

    My light's are already flickering which is normally a prelude to a power cut. Sitting watching TV with a torch at hand. I've been in the workshop and fired up the generator just in case. I haven't fired .it up for a couple of years so was pleasantly surprised when it started second pull . Alan.

    Apparently if a man pees in the water it turns blue and a woman it turns red. My wife and I came down the water chute and set off to the deep end together and I kid you not it looked like the red arrows. :rolleyes:

    Checked , but unfortunately no grub screw. Apparently my grandson has a plumber friend and he will ask him to come and have a look. Thank you for your replies Alan

    The turny bit is loose on the spinesand rock back and forth so is definitely held on with screw. It's been 20 odd years since I installed the taps Alan

    Yes , also tried with old butter knife. I'm at my daughters 120 miles away from my workshop where I would have tried an old chisel and gentle tapping. Alan

    I need to replace the tap washer but cannot remove the cap to get to the screw which holds the knob on . The knob is loose on the splines but cannot get anything under the cap,even the thinist of tools to remove the cap Any advice please Alan
