Os that aluminium witha lump of steel inside it.
If it is, its not a bit of corrosion making things a bit stiff its probably galvanic...

Surely its an awkward screw driver? 90 degrees difference should allow quite a good go at a screw.

I don't think the width matters much the fibres aren't super tight.

I am 90% sure thats a beater for beating the weave down the weft while making a rug.

These are less than half a mm.
It all got boraxed when i broke up the dresser. That was + ten years ago so the cycle should be well broken.

These holes are tiny! Thats a scalpel blade for scale. Its long gone i think but i am curious.
What flavour of woodworm are we talking...
