I have a 275, and haven't seen the item you have before....and I thought I'd all the gissmos to go with it!
Anyway, it's a sliding table, not sure if it's for the saw, but looking at the wheels it appears that it might very well travel on the aluminium table inserts. If it does you have a wonderful tool for cutting stuff to length.

I bought the saw from a school and only 4 ago year they spent £500 on the saw with a new spindle and flanges what ever they are lol .They were not sure if the part was with the saw but told me to take it anyway as it was on top of the saw with the extending table bars ect MOCK

It looks to me like a sliding table for a spindle moulder or, a morticer / tenon table that attaches to a planer. I have a 275 manual knocking around somewhere I wil have a good look through to see if they show your item. I wonder if it's off their combination machine?

Have you tried it on the aluminium table inserts. I'm intrigued if it fits.

By the way, the saw is a bargain for £500. The spindle alone new to buy is c£160.

Pm sent And no i haven,t had time today but i will be having a little look in the morning

sorry still haven,t had time to have a look at the saw and attachment yet sorry
