Do they sell manufactured boards?

Do they sell turning blanks?

Are they a one-man-band or a small, medium or large yard?

Will they cut to length to fit in your vehicle?

Are they hobby friendly? Yes, no minimum order

Can you self-select or is it by appointment? They select for you

Will they deliver? Yes

Do they have online ordering? No but they will quote on a cutting list emailed to them

Are prices displayed at the yard? No - you can't really see most of the timber. The accessories shop is priced.

Do they sell domestic hardwoods? Yes

Do they sell other hardwoods? Yes

Do they sell softwoods? Yes

Do they sell manufactured boards? Yes

Do they sell turning blanks? No

Are they a one-man-band or a small, medium or large yard? Large

Will they cut to length to fit in your vehicle? Yes

Do you have any comments? Specialist source for boatbuilding - teak and cedar decking boards, special plywood etc. Also sell veneers. Very wide range of hardwoods and graded softwoods. Website has a general retail price list from which you can (in theory) calculate the price of your requirements but it's better to talk to them as they will know what sizes they actually have and what they will machine to order.

Not cheap, but when I have ordered specially machined hardwood it was all good with no wastage.

Can you self-select or is it by appointment? Never visited the yard in person, only dealt with them by email, so don't know

Will they deliver? Yes

Do they have online ordering? They don't have a webshop, but they're happy to do business by email

Are prices displayed at the yard? Don't know, never been in person

Do they sell domestic hardwoods? Yes

Do they sell other hardwoods? Yes

Do they sell softwoods? Yes, several grades/species

Do they sell manufactured boards? Yes

Do they sell turning blanks? Don't think so

Are they a one-man-band or a small, medium or large yard? Large yard

Will they cut to length to fit in your vehicle? I believe so, but not had occasion to ask or use that service

Do you have any comments? They're kind of pricey, but quite convenient. They deliver nationwide, and claim to be able to do so on a next-day basis for material they have on hand. If your order requires machining, however, delivery takes around 10 days.

I've found they will usually let you go through a pack of boards yourself to pick out the decent ones.
