Last I heard was the one by Stuart Mortimer in Philadelphia on a Highlander(?) lathe many years ago.

Seems you were correct,but i thought i saw one been turned on a VB36 by another well known turner whos name escapes me where it was as tall as he,but not sure if that was a segmented bowl??
