Yep, can see the circlip, not sure how tight the bearing will be pushed fitted onto the shaft though.
Would like to get the shaft out as well as may well have to send it away for a new tyre.
By the way, tried getting the circlip out but as of yet have failed spectacularly well!

Sounds like you need a circlip plier set and a bearing puller. Usually these sorts of thing are an interference fit so relatively tight.

I think the wheel will come off with a bit of gentle persuasion once the clip is removed.
The tyre can be changed in situ, no need to remove the wheel. If the wheel makes a grinding or clicking noise when it spins by hand, replace both bearings. A really simple job that is unlikely to need anything more than a hammer, a couple pieces of wood, and a flat workbench.

Think I need a new pair of circlip pliers as the damn thing keeps letting go just as I'm getting the clip to come out.
Hopefully, will not need a new tyre, but I need to get the wheel off so I can clean up the residual rubber(?) mess left on the wheel when the lower drive wheel tyre melted and transferred it all to the top wheel via the blade that is also knackered.
lesson learned never try to saw 3 layers of mdf stuck together on a band saw!!!!!

I made this for the job:
There is a nut let into the wood somewhere on that middle bolt. Just wind the bolt in with a spanner and the wheel pops off. It was impossible to remove without this bit of kit.

if youre not the home made tool kind of guy, than a puller is cheap enough to save the effort...

OK guys just a quick update.

Anyway, took yet another look and could see 4 small screws that appeared to hold the cover on, great thinks I, nope, they all just turned without unscrewing, so sod it, cut the heads off and voila the cover is off and I can see how to refit the shaft before cover goes back on. Reason why screws just turned, well someone, (Kity), must think an ordinary bolt will fit into a speed clip and be able to come out again easily, wrong!
Anyway, though I'd give you an heads up on how to strip a Kity 613 bandsaw upper wheel.
