Hi all, just finished this course on tuesday and really enjoyed it, came out with a hand made display table and a lot more confidence and knowledge about looking after tools and suchlike. Really good teacher (he has been teaching woodwork for a long time) and everyone on it (5) really enjoyed it all even though we had never made anything like the display table ever before.

I wont post too much here as the reviews on the 1st link cover it all, but just thought i would mention it incase someone is looking for such a course either as a gift or as something to do at evenings locally, as there isnt much in the north west, especially evening courses for those who need to work.

it is at Frodsham castle park arts centre, easy access from the M56 and if you dont need the M56 you will know where it is anyhow :)

there you go.

legs are american walnut, the rest is ash.

all hand cut tenons and mortice's (as you can see not always cut perfect!), wedged tenons and planed finish around the edges to make it a bit more interested.

not the best picture but all tenons are smooth to the touch and in the porch as a plant holder as wanted a nice table as it was just an unused space.
