hello all, does anyone know where i might be able to buy a small bit of ziricote from? i need a little bit suitable to make a bangle from.

i think it is illegal to import zircote now? except as furniture. then they break it up to sell as blanks???? so there u go

I read somewhere that they just machine a tenon on the end and then it can be classed as furniture.

update: timberline had some but wernt willing to split a board (understanably) so i've got some asian striped ebony and some buck eye burr coming which i'm hoping will have that wow factor instead.
