Xmas cuttings
Having been busy like a bee doing bee hives, I did not have much time to do a lot of Xmas cutting.
Found a Moose face which had a T-Light candle in it. Decided it would make a nice serviette holder.
Also some smaller items to hang on a tree.
The pattern is glued to some 3mm MDF or hardboard.
These are then cut out giving me templates to use again. Easy draw and cut.
Templates cut(36.04 KiB)
The serviette holder is first.
It is crappy SA Pine with some Beech veneer glued on.
Pine with Beech veneer blanks(34.44 KiB)
The cutting and drilling lifted some veneer, therefore the dark spot where it was superglued.
Drilled and cut(33.8 KiB)
All done and sealed with 2 coats of Wooddoc 5.
Cut and sealed(28.27 KiB)
Here they are ready for the table.
One each for son, DIL, GS, GD each one has their initial on the base.
All ready for the dinner table(31.25 KiB)
The other items will be cut later in the new year.
