My new workshop's near ready for paint but I'm not sure what type to go for. Walls & ceiling are ply-lined.

It's going to be white to max the available light, and I'd prefer a sheen over a pure matt. But not too fussed on that. I want it to look nice, semi-posh, rather than my usual hotch-potch of leftovers...
Won't be able to run a compressor and extraction at the moment so it's brush or roller.

Bathroom emulsion? Not majorly keen
PU paint like this might be OK and last well, https://www.taindustrialpaints.co.uk/products/pu-all-colours-and-finishes
I've never used barn paint so no idea if it'd lay down smooth, or if it's thick and treacly

I was thinking of Bullseye 123 for primer

Any ideas & advice welcome!

I’m thinking maybe a kitchen and bathrooms type emulsion may be useful for any condensation issues in the colder weather .you haven’t given the size of your workshop as this of course will dictate how much paint you need . I like zinsser gloss paint excellent in tough environments but it’s not cheap..

Thanks, I'll look that up. Cost is always a thing but I'm more minded to do it nicely and well, over doing it cheap as poss.

It's 20x10 apex roof.

I got wary of K&B emulsion after the last lot of trade Dulux that was like custard, horrible stuff that refused to lay out flat. But is an option.

I'd agree with Bulls Eye as a primer and then stick with Zinsser and apply a couple of coats of their PermaWhite - it's mould resistant and goes on nicely with brush or roller
