Work Gloves Needed

Guys,

I'm wondering if anyone has a UK recommendation for a brand of gloves that I can buy that are fairly thin and rubber for grip, but allow me to pick up my smartphone and swipe on the screen to answer it.

Hopefully I'm not the first to want this ability in a pair of light workshop gloves

I've been using something like this Palm Gloves Small (toolstation.com) I usually pay about 1.50 a pair and the grip/feel is excellent.
I doubt you will get anything that will allow you to use a smartphone using a touch sensitive/swipe motion.

You could try a different option...
Go to a place that supplies welding equipment, and have a look for
THIN mig or tig welding gloves made from napa leather.
Still waiting to find some locally, that doesn't have stuffing or any reinforcement.
Should cost a bit under a tenner.

These from toolstation allow smart phone usage without removing them. I buy four or five pairs at a time so I always have some in stock. Excellent gloves even using nails and hammer, they are thin but excellent grip and protection.

My daily general purpose gloves are a cheaper version of these.

I get them in home bargains.
If I'm careful I can use the phone while wearing them.

I have found generally that nitrile coated gloves will work with screens, whereas latex coated ones won't.

I believe you can do something with a thin skim of silicone mixed with something on the fingertips to make any glove smart phone compatable.

We use the Ejendals touchscreen gloves in work

They are not cheap but there are cheaper brands out there who also make touchscreen gloves. Other option is to cut the tips of the fingers off your normal gloves.

These are German. Last ages. Work fine on my iPhone. Much better than the cheaper red gloves sold in bulk on Amazon. Highly recommended.
