I always loved to here "The Trade Wind Hornpipe" because there was always a literal boat load of fun to follow :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I have always said that the greatest stage in the world is your own imigination and the radio allows that so much more than the haunted fish tank where you see someone elses idea as to what something should be. Plus they are restricted by their budget. Your imigination has no budget and no limits.

The radio is so much better in so many ways.

One of the things that always amaized me was how a ventriliquest could prosper on the radio? If you ever saw any of the rare TV of Peter Brough and Ed Archy then you could see that he was much better on the radio because he just talked normally and could not be a ventriliquest if his life depended on it! (hammer) (hammer)

This is for the oldies! Fore some reason, this popped into my head last night and I wonder how many of you can remember spending 6d at the Saturday morning picture show, about 60 ish years ago and can remember the call "Shazam!" And what it related to? (Shows how bloody old I am)
