Well as you all know I am know into spiny things, but as this was only 25 miles up the road from me, I took a trip along there this afternoon.

Mark is a very nice bloke and within five minutes of chatting to him I was let loose on the oak he had mounted on the lathe.

Well its good fun, made some shavings, made dust and due to the type of tool Mark was using no dig ins.

I took a few pictures that I will post, but not until next weekend, I am off to Belfast with work for the week so no time to sort them out now
