Wooden pen box ideas

Hi all, have been making a pen for my brother and want to make a lovely box to match. Have used thuya burr. I want an easy to make design that will also look the part. Any ideas? I tried to attach a photo of the pen but was unable to (option not available to me)!

Here's a pen box I made from yew, the brass hinges supplied by Craft Supplies and lined with green flock.

Nice work Mick. Really like the simplistic approach but it really looks effective. Also reckon I could just about manage that in my garage workshop.
