Tried and failed to read Wohllenbergs book a few years back, but if you are interested in further reading then Merlin Sheldrake's book Entangled Life is worthwhile. I'd suggest Paul Stamets' Mycelium Running but it doesn't deal much with the symbiotic side of mycorrhizae, still interesting reading though
