Wood Types and finishing

Really!, Three post before I can post pics or reply to other threads!

Okay, so I've been using alot of exotic woods of late, Pink Ivory, Tulip Wood, Lace wood, lignum vitae, purple heart, maskapar ebony etc etc

I have the lathe on the slowest it will go when sanding after gotting reasonably impressive tool finishes and when sanding I try very hard not to generate heat as it leads to what I call heat cracks. Any sujjestions in what I'm doing wrong?

Welcome to the forum. I think you need to be a little more specific with your question, you haven't explained what the problem is. Also you may get more response on the wood turning forum.
