Now what about timbers,such as Brown Oak,She Oak,Red Oak,etc :? :?
Are these just for example the same type of tree or is it that something as gone on within that tree to give them these names :?: :?

Paul- here's a bit of She-Oak. I believe its called "Cassowaria" in Aus' ... seemingly the leaves resemble a Cassowary's tail-feathers :shock:
Its nice stuff to turn.. or this bit was anyway...

I Made this one for my son's girlfriend's mum a few months ago.

Sheoak is a very nice timber to turn I have a few pieces that I got at Stoneleigh in october.
