Wood screws......

interested if anyone has used spectre screws, as per Spectre Screws | Screws & Fixings | Toolstation.com
they look quite good, but that doesn't mean they are of course

I've used a couple of boxes of 50x5 with mostly impact driver into oak and softwood and had no issues.

I haven't tried them, I will. Toolstation base level screws are garbage, though. I confess to thinking Reisser better than Spax. Screwfix Turbo Gold are fine, as well.

looking through my screw stocks, I have :-
Screwfix, gold, silver and stainless.
Spectre,
Spax.
Plasplug Ovalock.
Torx Fast.
Paslode.
Powerfix.
Screw Tite.
Ulti Mate II.
Optimax.
Forge Fast.
Reisser.
For really small screws, I get bulk packs from Amazon.
I use a lot of screws, so I look out for bargains. When Homebase shut local stores, they sold screws really cheaply, so I got hundreds, but I never have the right size screw for what I'm doing.
