Thanks guys.

There are a few sellers of these veneers on eBay.  I think it’s professionals selling offcuts that would otherwise go in the bin.

All of these are single pieces.  The price tends to jump if two or more consecutive pieces are sold as they can then be bookmatched.  I buy larger burr pieces from Craft Veneers and Capital Crispin.

I’m wedded to wax over oil finish.  Chestnut Finishing Oil is good but the best is imho Peacock oil from Skelton Saws.  I use Alfie Shine Hard wax from Workshop Heaven.  It’s worth it just for the smell!
